Anna Katrine Kraus was born in 1984 in Sacramento, California but lives and works in Berlin, Germany. As an artist and sculptor her major interest is Installations and Public Art. Her major works include the “Cumulus” Suite at the 28th ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden (2017), “Nomadic Landscape” Art Street in Sacramento California, USA (2017) and “The Flying Buttress” Suite at the 26th ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden (2015). In 2013, she was the Artist in Residence at The Eberhardt Fellowship, Germany. She received the Laundry Ceramics Award, USA in 2013. Prior to that, in 2009 she got the Martin Wong Ceramics Scholarship and the Phoenix Fire Ceramic Award, USA.
